وعرض أبو زيد الإفراج عن المعتقلين من أبناء مطروح مقابل الذهاب للاستفتاء قائلا: "ليكم 60 واحد في رقبتي اعتبروها انتهت"
ودعا إلى ضرورة تفعيل دور العمد والمشايخ بمطروح، وذلك عن طريق عقد المؤتمرات بمختلف قرى ومركز ونجوع المحافظة للدعوة إلى المشاركة في الاستفتاء على الدستور في منتصف يناير الجاري.
